9 resident turkeys at a small city farm have captured the hearts and minds of thousands this Christmas

Following news of a live turkey auction in the city, Bristol Vegans found a safe sanctuary for all 9 turkeys. The money raised at auction was going to a homeless charity so Bristol Vegans set up a crowdfunder to donate funds to the charity if the turkeys were freed. We managed to raise £700 in one day.

Despite all this, St Werburghs City Farm have REFUSED to allow the turkeys to live, saying they'll be heading to slaughter anyway.
