It is simple.  We want to keep the St Pete Pride Parade in the same location it was founded and flourished.  

Tommy & I are new business owners to the Grand Central District.  We made a huge decision/risk to open up a craft beer arcade bar based on the growing interest and comfortable neighborhood of the Kenwood Neighborhood, Arts District, and Grand Central District.   We have been residents of St Pete and Tampa Bay for a very long time, and have always loved the community enthusiasm and strength behind the St Pete Pride Parade.  

Our feelings are expressed with this quote from a letter from the Grand Central District Association, "For most in the Grand Central District, this is about more than money—it is about history, it is about the LGBTQ community and it is about PRIDE."

Hopefully, the St. Pete Pride Parade Committee will change their minds and come back to the Grand Central District where it all began. We know we are new to the area, but one of the attractive aspects was how open and friendly the neighborhoods were to the LGBTQ community. Cheers to Mayor Kriseman for making a tough, yet necessary decision to make some actions in St Pete.
