Micheal Ellis, of St.Joseph Missouri, made a bet one day with his friends that his mixed Pit/Masstif could survive being chained outside during the Polar Vortex of January 30th 2019 without any shelter, food or water, and nothing to be warm in. 

The day of the Polar Vortex St.Joseph wind speeds reached 30.8 MPH with the low of -10 degrees. Factories, schools and campuses were closed on Wednesday because of the extreme temperature warning.

We have contacted the St.Joseph Police Department who refuse to do anything about the dogs passing as it wasn’t “illegal”. Recently the city of St.Joseph passed a Tethering Act, which is what happened in this case. 

The dog previously belonged to a 16 year old girl who was made to give the dog away and is in a depressed state of mind. 

We are wanting to get Micheal Ellis on Animal Cruelty charges due to the Teathering Act.
