Some of you may remember the public meetings touting the benefits of this "restoration" work on our public lands; the county money, the National Estuary Program money and the promises of improved water quality. I do. I trusted. I supported. I was fooled. But thank goodness the equipment broke-down before more damage was done. As of today, the application by Webster Creek Development (yes, development hint, hint), to continue the restoration (and claim the land) via hyroblasting/hydroleveling is still pending favorable approval by the SJRWMD. And, once again, promises of improved water quality. I won't and you shouldn't be fooled again.
