Thank you for your continued support for our campaign. 

Representatives of the Scouts and the Parish Council met on Tuesday 21st January 2020 to discuss the current situation around the lease on the land in Roestock Park, Colney Heath where the Scout HQ is situated. A productive meeting was held and both parties were able to state their questions, concerns and discuss some potential future options to try to move things forward.

Both parties are committed to bringing the current situation to an amicable and acceptable agreement and the Scout Group have agreed to draft a renewed proposal for the Parish Council for discussion and consideration at their next meeting on 20th February 2020.

It will take a few weeks to discuss these issues further and we would appeal for some calm and space to enable us to do this. In the short term the Scouts are making some temporary arrangements to enable the young people to continue their Scouting. We will update you all again when we have further information.
