Protect The Strays is a student-organized movement, originating from Simon Sanchez High School, advocating the protection and care of stray animals on Guam. With this movement, we intend to encourage the idea of opening multiple animal shelters in multiple villages on Guam. This vision will not only protect the animals that have no home but also ensure more safety to citizens that roam the streets, ensuring that neither the animal nor human will be attacked. We believe that animals should have an equal chance at living a happy life – whether they started out stray or were abandoned – and with this movement, we hope to bring this sentiment to more people around the island.
