"Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?" The question booms across Milhalik-Thompson Stadium as Slippery Rock University students, friends, and families prepare for the football game. Once the crowd hears this iconic line, they know that it is game time at SRU. With that, it is clear that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is meant to visit our campus in Western Pennsylvania. 

Every semester, the Slippery Rock University Program Board invites famous guest speakers and performers to campus  In the past year, they have invited actor Drake Bell, Youtube-sensation Jenna Marbles, and actress Angela Kinsey from "The Office". Dwayne Johnson would be a perfect addition to this list. Not only does his wrestling stage name match our university ("The Rock), he is a talented actor and has inspired thousands of people.
