Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition has a fantastic, underrated online multiplayer component. It received average to negative reviews, however after over 2 years since its original release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC (the original Tomb Raider 2013) it has a large fanbase that still enjoy playing it today (myself included). However, the servers are essentially not working. It started off with glitches such as "the black screen", where all players would be booted off the servers after even only 1 round of a match, and presented with the message "Connection to the server has been lost" or "The session no longer exists". But unfortunately the glitches have only developed; there is now no chance of finding a match. You will be given the message "Match Found" for a couple minutes before being redirected to an empty lobby. Due to the broken servers, no players will join. And don't bother trying to invite a friend, as this will result in them receiving the message "The session is not joinable: host is unreachable". So after about 10 minutes of sat there doing nothing, you will be booted from YOUR OWN lobby and given the message "The game session no longer exists". These errors, glitches, etc. have been occurring for over a year now (counting only the Definitive Edition) and it's proving so much of a hinderence to the Tomb Raider community that literally nobody can even play the multiplayer. Even trophy hunters can't succeed in getting the platinum trophy as they're unable to play the multiplayer in order to achieve level 60. So what am I asking? I'm asking for the developers to stop neglecting this game. It is truly unacceptable for you to sell everyone an unfinished, broken game. I'm asking for you to release an update that fixes the servers, so that the Tomb Raider fanbase can once again enjoy multiplayer. This doesn't just apply to the current gen consoles; while people on last gen don't experience as many errors as current gen, it's still a broken multiplayer. Do you enjoy Tomb Raider multiplayer?
