Make SGFI games open for CBSE and ICSE boards too! Board of school cannot define talent!
The Issue
Karnataka is 25 times national champion at National Aquatic Championship held every year by SFI ! But recently held "63rd National School Games Swimming - 2017" puts Karnataka in 6th position. The reason weird and shocking!
In Karnataka ( maybe in other states too), only state board school kids are allowed to take part in SGFI meets! CBSE, ICSE and other boards do not have well-defined channels to participate in these games!
Can SAI and state education departments join hands together to come up with standard procedure and protocols to promote sports at grass root level?
