Can you imagine being bombed and having to leave your home, your friends, your jobs, your children's school? Then accepting an offer from a compassionate country? That's what happened to some hard working, law abiding Ukrainian's. Since 2022 Ukrainian's have been here legally under the U4U and TPS program. These programs allowed people to work (with social security cards). So they have been paying taxes. Here's the issue, work permits are running out, DOT licenses are running out, and everyone is on edge whether it will happen to them, and are they going to be able to feed their families, and pay their bills.
