We want to begin by thanking you for your support! 

The restaurant is now open and has relaunched their social media and website with no perceptible changes to their name, logo, or concept. However, the petition remains active and continues to collect signatures. 

The owners have not reached out, which is a shame, but a meeting is not necessary to make the requested adjustments. We designed the petition to clearly outline our concerns. 

If the success of your business relies on the use of elements from historically marginalized cultures, then you can understand that what you’ve taken from them is of value. And at the end of the day, you can always make the choice to change that. 

Our goal remains to encourage the restaurant to remove appropriative elements from their logo, name, and concept. As of this writing, 1,424 people have signed the petition. We are almost to our next goal of 1,500. Please help us spread the word!
