Thank you for your support!

I want to personally thank you for your support and involvement in writing letters to Senator Boxer and for signing the Change.org petition regarding water for wildlife and specifically, California Salmon. The good news is that over 11,600 people signed the petition and wrote letters. We got Senator Boxer's attention! With the support of 30 Senators, Boxer filibustered the bill. Unfortunately, a filibuster requires the support of 40 Senators to succeed. The bill has passed and is awaiting the President's signature. We are not giving up! We will continue to support organizations like Golden Gate Salmon Association and others dedicated to keeping California Salmon runs healthy and viable by ensuring habitat restoration and equitable water flow management for communities that depend upon salmon, commercially, recreationally and culturally and for the protection of wildlife in general. Perhaps moving forward, we can all work to help our new Senator, Kamala Harris, better understand the needs of all constituents for equitable distribution of water including wildlife and California salmon.
