Owner trained FND Assistance Dog guided his owner around Edinburgh. One Scottish Rail employee stated that "he had met a lot of Assistance Dogs. But Bear was the happiest and smileiest." "This day Bear road four trains, helping me get on and off over the gap (we didn't need the ramp they provide for wheel chairs). He also road in four taxies. Two where he got in the back of a hatchback and two where there was room for him to lie on the floor because it was one of the black cabs (hard to explain if your not from the UK). He helped me up one flight of stairs and the train station that were wet and then down another flight of stairs. He travelled with me in six lifts (elevators). Two big enough for a crowd of people (and it was full) with mirrored panelling. The others were made for two or three people. Not to mention him guiding me through crowds of people at the busy rail station.... And that's just some of what we did on Wednesday. I would not have been able to do it without Bear."
