Thank you for your feedback. Please be advised that this matter will be further considered by Council at their January meeting scheduled for 23rd January 2019 at Campania Hall, commencing at 10.00 a.m.
In relation to the public safety issue, the issues that were identified by Council were primarily associated with unauthorised activities that have either been reported and/or alleged that are happening in the vicinity of the dam and the adjoining private property. These include illegal shooting activities; non-approved removal of firewood; hooning and vandalism of private property.
In respect of this issue, Council did seek legal advice and I attach a copy for your information.
Council will be in a position to advise further following this meeting.
