They have made a small change but still not good enough .

The cabinet has today announced it will raise the day rate along the central seafront from £12 to £18. This is better than the £24 a day of course but this still makes Southend one of the most expensive Seafront resorts in the country.

 

the new proposals also gives the power to the portfolio holder to rise them again in May.

We will still be fighting this and sending the petition to make sure no big increase on parking is agreed.
