Our first target has been reached. Let’s double it!

Thank you for supporting our petition to encourage Southend Borough Council to introduce Article 4 to provide additional safeguards around the development of HMO’s in Kursaal  Ward and across the wider borough.

We intend to present this petition at the October Full Council Meeting on10th October and ask for your help in doubling the amount of signatures we currently have.  Please consider sharing the link to the petition on your social media and with your colleagues friends and family.

We feel that the imposition of Article 4, alongside Landlord Licensing will deter unscrupulous landlords and provide greater protections for some of our most vulnerable residents.
