Please find a copy of a response to the open letter sent to Grant Shapps at the Dept of Transport. Unfortunately this is quite vague and offers no guarantees or specific answers. Please feel free to have a look, but at this point it doesn't give any guarantees.

We have also received a reply from Tobias Ellwood, our local MP. Initially this wasn't as clear as we hoped, but further emails and discussions between everyone has clarified the position. We believe Mr Ellwood understands the issues and will impress the concerns when he meets Grant Shapps this week.
