11 months since starting our campaign to Save the Regent and I‘m very happy to be able to share the latest proposals for the site. I wanted to highlight these plans before Christmas, but the scheme was still commercially confidential then. Councillor Thompson has kept me informed along the way (thank you) and it’s been a pleasure helping to influence the proposals and raise awareness. This is a fantastic development opportunity for Westoe. Let’s hope the plans come to fruition, that the Campaign was not in vain and we see some elements of the 1930s cinema building incorporated...
