Stop the ban on multiple dog walking

The Issue

South Ribble Independents Party, Councillors Claire Hamilton and Paul Wharton call on South Ribble Council to immediately put a stop on the Cabinet decision to make unlawful the walking of multiple dogs (4 or more) in the borough.

Our position is clear- that the Council should provide more dog wardens for better enforcement rather than restrictions and penalties that will impact on responsible owners.

Public consultation overwhelmingly said no yet Conservative and Labour Councillors supported.

We request a public meeting to discuss this action!
