We want Grange Lido restoration to include the swimming pool, and South Lakeland District Council to confirm that any option without a swimming pool will be ruled out.

Grange Lido is a rare Art Deco heritage gem, the last and only surviving seaside lido in the North of England, and is under threat of being filled with concrete by the local council.

Help us to stop this shortsighted vandalism and bring this much loved local landmark back to life.  

The council must not ignore it's own feasibility studies and consultations which have shown that 74% of the people of Grange over Sands want the Lido to be reopened for swimming.... and that it would be commercially viable in three years.

There are plenty of money making ideas to go with our plans, as we all agree it has to be sustainable, but without a pool the Lido ceases to be an attraction and simply doesn't make any sense at all.

But this is URGENT!
