Going against the will of their own voters, in an apparent political suicide wish, the Alachua County Commissioners voted 4-1 to purge the 1904 Alachua Co. Memorial to Confederate Dead from the public landscape. The purge was DEMANDED by the opponents of liberty, veterans and respect for the dead, and America herself. It was truly a disgusting display.
