We Demand Accountable Government & Parliament Meetings for the Betterment of South Africa! Sign the Petition to the South African Government.
As for South African heritage, I am deeply troubled by the lack of progress and accountability within our government. It is disheartening to witness the continuous disruptions in municipal, national assembly, and national council meetings that hinder productive discussions on critical issues affecting all South Africans. I have created this petition to demand that our municipalities, National Assembly, and National Council of Provinces enforce strict regulations to deter disruptions during government meetings. It is imperative that these disruptions incur fines for members of political parties who engage in such behavior.
Our government and parliament meetings should focus on addressing pressing issues that affect citizens from all heritages across South Africa. Poverty, crime, joblessness, drugs, looting – these are just some of the challenges we face daily. Moreover, it is distressing to acknowledge that some politicians from 1948 to 2024 have been involved in looting public funds while neglecting their duty towards the people they represent.
