My fellow law-abiding citizens, we are now Twelve Thousand Friends of Democracy - well done. Please continue to share our cause with friends and family.

Following yesterday's proceedings at the Senekal court where the police provoked supporters of Brendin Horner's family, Julius Malema today sent out a Tweet that is clearly incitement to violence. Link on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Julius_S_Malema/status/1313728484921966597

We have posted a video discussion of the Tweet here:

I am asking you today to arrest this kind of harmful behavior. And report the Tweet to the Human Rights Council here right away:
https://www.sahrc.org.za/index.php/what-we-do/lodge-complaints/own-complaint

It will take you less than 3 minutes.

Why you should do this:

Mr. Malema was convicted and found guilty of HATE SPEECH and harassment as contemplated in the Equality Act on 15 March 2010 by the Johannesburg Equality Court.

A repeat offender Mr. Malema was again found guilty of HATE SPEECH by the High Court in Johannesburg on 12 September 2011.

In his judgment the Honourable Judge Collin Lamont ruled:

"Words are powerful weapons that could lead to disastrous actions and even genocide. The words of one person inciting others...that's how a genocide can start”.

I thank you for taking action, and I thank you for seeking #JusticeForBrendin
