WHY DID  HE REMOVE MINISTER DION GEORGE? 

Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment under the helm of MInister Dion George finally openly took on South Africa’s Captive Lion Industry and made a public stand against legalising the rhino horn and ivory trade. 

Minister Steenhuisen has replaced Minister George with Minister Willie Aucamp who openly supports Wildlife Ranching South Africa  and the Sustainable Use Coalition Southern  Africa. Both organisations support the rhino horn trade.
