“The Directorate of Priority Crime - the HAWKS - confiscated 181 rhino horns  from two men transporting John Hume’s rhino horns from a vault in Centurion on the 13th April 2019 as part of a sales transaction. The rhino horns were seized because there was no permit to transport them outside of Gauteng Province. 

According to the HAWKS fraudulent applications were used to trade illegally with the rhino horn.”
