SOUTH AFRICA SUPPORTS LIONS BRED IN CAPTIVITY FOR THEIR BONES

The South African government has created the legal trade in lion bone. Do they not realize that this legal trade in endangered species parts will encourage an illegal trade? 

As many as fifteen thousand lion are locked in cages in South Africa waiting to be killed for their bones which are supplied to Asia.
