Save The Rhino Organisation has summerized the three proposals submitted at CoP18 in Geneva two weeks ago.  I have included their summary for your convenience.  

The international trade in rhino horn remains illegal.  South Africa is allowed to hunt Black Rhino. The White Rhino will still enjoy the Appendix I categorisation. 

This is not the outcome that pro-trade and pro-utelisation South Africans would have hoped for.
