Experts in Hong Kong believe that this is stockpile farmed rhino horn. There are obvious signs of regrowth visible on the horns. The horns have been stored for some time.
We have to wonder if this horn is from state owned rhino horn stockpiles or privately owned stockpiles.
We must close this industry down. It is appalling that South Africa despite all the promises made by the Department of the Environment has absolutely no control of the domestic trade.
