I filed a complaint with the City of Minot on August 22, 2022 to make them aware that Councilwoman Carrie Evans was on the SVAS petition for BSL located here:

On this petition, Councilwoman Evans picture uses her official Minot position in support of overturning this ordinance. According to the Minot Council Handbook located here:

This action is prohibited by the rules in ethics specifically the conflict of interest. This also may violate the Hatch Act(still researching this).

In my complaint, I asked the City council to recuse Councilwomen Evans vote if the issue ever was presented to council for vote which is a standard procedure when there is a conflict of interest. (Oh to add… they deleted my request and deleted my City of Minot account as well. This is also going to be investigated.) 

Two days later, my cease and desist is drafted and mailed for postings on this petition and on social media that they claim are libel from 2-3 months ago.

Seems like a retaliatory action for whistleblowing to the city….tisk tisk!
