Most of the issues we have with SVAS and Shelbi Waters rolled into one “golden” comment on their Facebook post about transporting yet another 20-30 Beagles up here.
Not only do they admit to everything we have been saying for almost 2 years, it adds that they are no longer taking community surrenders unless it’s an “emergency” because that is the pounds “job”(which it is not).

So to put this in a better perspective….

Souris Valley Animal Shelter was built by the county and city 40ish years ago to service the county for strays. The people and businesses of Minot have supported Souris Valley Animal Shelter by millions in donations to have this service for our community. In the last 3 years since Shelbi Waters has come in as ED, the services they provide are now next to nothing. 
All while bashing the citizens of Minot, the pound, local state rescues, and every “brick and mortar” shelter in the state.
They are also now abandoning ALL of our local city animals that need help.  
Please quit supporting them…
