We’ve just hit 400 signatures – thank you so much for being part of this growing movement to restore general practice in Scotland.
But we’re just getting started.
Right now, we’re at a crossroads. It takes at least 10 years to train a GP, yet newly qualified GPs can’t get work because there’s not enough funding for practices to hire them. Meanwhile, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Dubai are actively recruiting doctors trained here in Scotland.
This isn’t just a workforce issue – it’s a political choice. If we don’t act now, it will take a decade or more to fix the damage.
That’s why we need your help again – to get this petition in front of more people. If each of us gets just one more person to sign and share, we double our impact overnight.
We need this on every politician’s agenda going into the next election. Let’s make sure they can’t ignore it.
