As you know, London's iconic South Bank is still at risk! We need your urgent support to continue the fight against the proposed development that could ruin this beloved open space and cultural hub by the River Thames. Join us in protecting the heart and soul of our community!

Locally known as "The Slab," the proposed monstrous office blocks will loom over the South Bank, earning the title of an "aggressive eyesore" from The Guardian's Simon Jenkins. We're now awaiting the decision of Secretary of State Michael Gove MP, following the public inquiry in January. His decision is expected in August.

The Mitsubishi estate plans to demolish everything, including the existing former ITV tower, in favour of speculative offices. If this project proceeds, the structure will dominate the skyline, destroying cherished views, robbing social housing of daylight, and casting shadows over the riverside walkway and gardens. Additionally, the construction will needlessly emit over 100,000 tonnes of CO2 into our fragile atmosphere.

We're in a classic David versus Goliath battle. Your donation, regardless of size, will contribute to the remaining costs of our legal representation at the public inquiry.

Our initial goal was £15,000, and thanks to the generosity of our community, we've raised around £12,000 so far. But we still need your help to find £3,000 to bridge the remaining gap and secure the future of our South Bank.
