After months of campaigning and hard work please come along in person on the first morning to show strength in numbers concerned at the massive, proposed development.
When: Tuesday 6 December at 10am
Location: 15 Hatfields, Chadwick Court, SE1 8DJ
The inquiry will continue until 16 December and on 3 & 6 January
2023 and you can also attend on these dates.
It will help us if you email the SOS: Save Our South Bank Action
Group to let us know you will be attending:
saveoursouthbank22@gmail.com
Please come and show your support on Tuesday 6 December at 10am. We are also looking for people who may want to speak at the inquiry on another day as the Inspector wants to hear of local concerns - we need people like you to speak out about how this development would affect you such as:
- the daylight in your flat
- the sunlight in Bernie Spain Gardens
- the joys of the South Bank
- the problems of the South Bank
- the need for more housing
- the need for genuinely affordable workspace
- the local creative or cultural opportunities you enjoy
- the joys of the National Theatre or the Royal Festival Hall
- the joys of Waterloo Sunset
- the massive carbon waste of demolishing a building barely 50 years old
- crossing Waterloo and Blackfriars bridges and seeing the South Bank
- the glimpses of St Paul's, or the particular qualities of Roupell Street, or
Stamford Street, or Cornwall Road
If you are planning to attend and would like to speak or want to know more about the inquiry and how we can get across our concerns, please contact Jenny as soon as possible:
Call: 020 7928 0452 or email: saveoursouthbank22@gmail.com
If you are unable to attend (but we really hope you can) you are also able to watch a live stream using the link provided on Lambeth Council's website when it becomes available.
