Because on top of hundreds of thousands of fans wishing for Tobey Maguire to return to the franchise even if its just for a new Avengers movie, We also want to original Spider-Man to revive the franchise. The reboot was decent but lets face it, The ratings and box office numbers speak for them self. When we all saw Tobey we believed he was Peter Parker/ Spider-Man. He was the first person to run ripping open his shirt to reveal that red and blue colors of hope even during dark times when this country was on its knees recovering from 9/11. Bringing Tobey back will not only revive the franchise but it will also generate way more money due to seeing the original Spider-Man back in action especially if that actor is the well known and beloved amazing man as Tobey Maguire.
