90% of PS4 users who dont actively use the light bar in the PS4 controller, consider it a nuisance. For users who dont have a PS4 camera, the only use for the light bar (other than the distractions listed below) is indicating which controller is yours or your friends depending on what color it gives off and someothe useless in game light shows. Personally, I can do without them. 

Regardless of how little of the battery Sony claims the light bar uses, it is still a nuisance. 

Reflecting off the TV screen, illuminating an intentionally-darkened room, and decreasing battery life (even if it doesnt use that much battery, the pathetic 7 hour battery life of the controller means that even a small addition will mean a significant percentage of what has already been given to us)

Sign this petition if you think Sony should at least give their customers the option of turning off this nuisance, especially when you dont have the camera to go along with it.
