Recently, former PlayStation boss Shawn Layden publicly said that he does not agree with Sony's move away from physical media. While he understands the business reasons behind the decision, he called it a "fairly dramatic" change and pointed out that physical games still matter for ownership, preservation, and players who don't always have reliable internet access. 
It's encouraging to see more people, communities, and industry voices now speaking up in support of physical media. It's great to know we're no longer standing alone.

Although this petition started slowly, it continues to grow. Every new signature sends a clear message that players still value physical games, true ownership, and preserving gaming history for future generations.
