The Issue

We gamers from all countries of SCEE region would like to ask SCEE for a retail version of Freedom Wars and Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines.

The decision to release the most anticipated games for Vita as digital only in is incomprehensible, incorrect and highly harmful for future of PlayStation Vita console in SCEE’s region. By upholding this decision you will betray all gamers who are buying only/mainly retail versions of games. Furthermore there is high risk that this decision might be interpreted by third parties as a sign of abandoning support for Vita console.

We would also like to kindly remind you that according to data EU alone is 30% bigger market for Vita than North America. SCEA responsible for countries of both Americas decided to release retail version of both games for theirs market. If it is viable to release games for smaller market than we also deserve the same kind of respectful treatment.

Both games have high potential of becoming the system sellers which will boost sales of Vita in SCEE region. But to use their potential there must be retail release of those games.

We warn you that upholding this harmful decision might result in boycott of those games.
