Midnight Club L.A.-released in 2008- surely was a great arcade racing for ps3 and
Xbox 360. The fact is, only PS3 servers  were shut down, hence its online trophies and  also, subsequently its Platinum trophy, became unobtainable. Not only that, but a considerable amount of people had fun playing matches in this awesome video-game!  The game itself is great and challenging.

I'm aware that the demise of MC L.A. multiplayer was due to Game Spy's bankruptcy. Although, fact is: only PS3's servers were shutdown, keeping Xbox's  still open to this day(I'm not saying they should shut off Xbox's too, but keep servers for both platforms open!). Sony should do something about it, because we wanna go online on MC LA again! Please  sign this very petition

They would solve the issue by allowing peer-to-peer connection on it-that way, they wouldn't need to build another server from scratch- what do you say, Sony?

Em português, em 2014, a Sony fechou o servidor desse jogo para o Playstation3 (para o Xbox ainda está aberto até hoje, inclusive até relançaram o mesmo para o Xbox One! Ou seja, não é culpa da Rockstar em si).

Fechou sob a desculpa de que a GameSpy faliu e não há mais como ter servidor sem essa(GameSpy era a empresa terceirizada que fornecia o servidor do MC L.A.). Mas a Sony poderia fazer algo a respeito, não?! Ainda tem gente querendo jogar o multiplayer do Midnight Club  no ps3 em 2019! É um jogasso; é um arcade desafiador e divertido; e o multiplayer era muito foda.
