Hi Everyone, The Sonoma Valley Patient Group would like to offer a *big* thanks to everyone who has signed our petition. But we're not done yet! We need your help. No, this isn't a pledge drive, we're not asking for money. : ) We're asking for more signatures. Last evening, Nov 6, the city council held a contentious meeting in which it voted to renew the moratatoria on outdoor and indoor personal cultivation and on a dispensary for another year. This is too complex a matter to explain here, but suffice to say not all council members are happy with the slowness of this process, nor are we. The council does have the power to lift those moratoria at any time, pending its completion of a fair and reasonable ordinance that encompasses all aspects of cannabis within the city limits. That includes a dispensary with delivery service and the right for patients to grow outdoors if necessary. So, our big ask? Only that you please encourage your family and friends to sign our petition to help push us over that 200 mark and to join our Sonoma Valley Cannabis Group on Facebook.
