South Orange Residents and Ivy Hill Residents were promised a Town Hall Meeting to review the hydrological storm water study that Newark has conducted. It has been scheduled at 4pm, this Tuesday 3/14 at the Seton Hall Campus, mere hours before the South Orange Planning Board Special Meeting. If you are able to attend, it is important to amplify the voices of our neighbors and show our support. This is an IN PERSON meeting. No remote option has been provided.
The planning board case for the Seton Hall basketball facility will continue to be heard at 7:30 that same evening. This meeting is remote, via webex. However, it's not clear that the Planning Board will be given this hydrological study to consider before voting!!! If you are able to attend, please raise your hand to speak and share your thoughts with the Planning Board so that they know the feeling of the community they represent. Please urge that the hydrological study be presented to the planning board so that all necessary information is on the table to consider before deliberation.
