Thank you to everyone who continues to stand with survivors and children impacted by the misuse of the family court system. This effort cannot move forward without you. Every voice matters, and collective advocacy is essential to creating accountability and meaningful reform.
This petition exists because too many parents and children are being harmed—not by conflict alone, but by the strategic misuse of family court procedures, domestic-violence filings, and legal power. When courts reward intimidation, misinformation, or financial leverage instead of evidence and accountability, children lose meaningful relationships with loving parents, and trauma becomes institutionalized.
Children should never be used as leverage. Survivors should never be punished for speaking out. Systems designed to protect families must not be allowed to enable harm through silence or inaction.
For many families, the impact of these failures is ongoing and deeply personal. Parents are told to “move on” while separation, coercive control, and systemic injustice continue to damage parent-child bonds. That reality is why this petition remains necessary.
We are calling for:
Transparency, due process, and judicial accountability in family court.
An end to the misuse of ex parte orders, TROs, and litigation tactics as tools of control.
Meaningful ADA compliance and protections for parents with disabilities.
Consequences for those who knowingly misuse the system to harm children or silence the other parent.
Decisions grounded in evidence and the true best interests of the child.
Please actively share this petition with others. Widespread awareness and collective voices are critical to protecting children, exposing systemic misuse, and forcing accountability where the system has failed.
Thank you for using your voice. Change happens when people refuse to stay silent.
