Hello again!

Wow. We are so blown away by the love and support that we have been shown by this community. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's been a challenging week since we released this open letter, from being threatened on social media and being called names to people reporting us to our bosses for being "racist." We have reached over 1,500 signatures - to God be the glory! We had no idea that it would reach this volume of response, but it has encouraged our hearts that so many care about the Gospel. 

If all of you could take a moment and share this letter with 5 of your friends, it would make a huge difference. The number of responders is honestly the reason that any change has been happening. It's because of all of you that we are having an impact.

If you have reached out to us and we haven't replied, we apologize. We are completely unable to stay on top of the volume of messages, texts, DMs, and emails. That doesn't mean stop, because those encourage our hearts when we are feeling discouraged - but we will do our best to get around to replying to all of you when we have time.

We also have a prayer request. Due to the amount of attention this letter got, Student Government started a Task Force relating to this (and other private letters that had been written previously). We have an initial meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. Please cover that meeting in prayer. Ask for open hearts and minds, and that we would be filled with humility and love for one another.
