As we approach the first day of the semester, your efforts to spread the word about this petition and the time you are taking to add your voice in the student survey are impactful and important. Thank you so much for everything you are doing to help keep all of us safer this semester.
We are continuing to collect data on which courses are not yet offering live streaming. Soon, we will be able to more effectively organize our efforts around specific changes that can support faculty members in implementing online accommodations that will help protect student health.
In the meantime, I want to invite you to contact your professors directly to encourage them to make the necessary changes that keep students safe. To help you with this, I am providing a template letter that you can use to communicate your concerns about COVID-19 this semester.
I am confident that we will be able to reach faculty and administrators, and that they will hear and address our needs. Our voices are amplified with each petition signature, direct letter to professors and efforts to spread the word.
