Snapchat is used by millions of teens around the world. When texting your friends and viewing stories the background is white, a color that can often strain the eyes during the later hours of the day which could result in loss of sleep / sleep deprivation and other eye problems. If Snapchat could somehow make a setting that replaces the bright white background with a more darker color (black, gray, dark gray for example) to ease the eyes more that would easily combat this situation. I feel like this is a very underlooked situation that doesn’t get as much attention as it should. Such a small change could prevent many issues from occurring farther down the road.
