The Aussie Women's Bobsled team have met the International standards and been allocated a spot by the international federation for selection to the Winter Olympic Games next month. The girls are ready, their sled is painted green and gold and we are ready to watch them but sadly the governing organisation feels they are not good enough to represent us. The Australian Olympic Committee fully supports the girls and has encourage 'Sliding sports Australia (SSA)' to submit a nomination but so far they are not moving from their position. Whilst what SSA says is true the Olympics is not for beginners and standards need to be met, if the AOC and IBSF feel in this case they deserve the experience and chance to excel then lets allow them the chance of a life time. We are Aussies, we are proud of our athletes and we believe in the spirit behind the Olympics. AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE... BOBSLED girls for PyeongChang Olympic Games!!
