I couldn't agree with you more and appreciate your engagement on this important issue.

I recall seeing this petition months ago and notified both Change.org as well as the Sparkle Foundation at that time as I'm not a decision maker on this issue. Social services in San Rafael are provided by the Marin County Board of Supervisors through their Health, Human Services Dept.

The Council adopted a 3 year Strategic Plan this year and you may find it interesting as it lays out the priorities for the City and, in October, the Council will be reviewing the Year 1 workplan is you'd like to provide input.
