After keeping this petition alive for quite sometime, it seems not every shares the same thoughts as me, recently, someone sent an anonymous note to my place and I would like to clarify some things before closing this petition. I suffer from depression and anxiety; isolation and constant changes makes it hard to cope with all the feelings of fear and worry. To the person who put the note saying that I'm using this as an excuse and belittling mental health. As a sufferer of mental health, you of all people know that confrontation at this level is not healthy to the person receiving it, especially if you're going to the receivers place of residence. Next, I am not using this as an excuse, I have seen SMU confessions and reddit, you can see the amount of students suffering from this. There has been a increased rate of suicide amongst students (not all of it is reported in the papers.
Regardless, I would like to apologise to whoever you are if I made you (or in this case possibly a group of you) feel belittled or difficult. On my part I will close this petition and I hope this will appease you, in future please do not approach me or my house ever again.
