Thank you everyone who has signed the petition... and more importantly, shared it on social media as well as discussed it - either online or in-person with people you know and/or care about.

The issue of whether tracking technology be made complusory, by law, to be worn at all times is a moot point. Even if if were not, we recognise the potential creation of a two-tiered society (those who wear the devices vs. do who do not) therein, and an open pass to engage in yet another form of prejudice and societal stratification.

We reject what could potentially be a new form of apartheid (those who wear devices being unable to interact, commune, or live with those who reject the devices). Thus, we continue to send a strident and unwavering voice to any actor or authority that the preservation of our rights and freedoms will not be predicated upon the adoption of any wearable tracking device by the general population of Singapore.

We unite in the fight against Covid-19, and we do so as responsible citizens who look out for one another, and not by surrendering our rights wholesale to a technocratic Government. Keep petitioning, keep our communities strong, and keep our voices heard!
