Heartened to know that the numbers are still climbing and also plus the inspiring comments from likeminded peeps. Let’s make this happen. Will be starting an interest group so that we can share our experiences on why you signed up for this (Eg I signed up because I saw that article and the trigger was when a friend commented that her country has already been doing this so why is Singapore still lagging behind?) and how other communities or countries are doing this? Eg HK & Thailand stopped single use plastics in supermarkets few years and people have supported that by bringing their own reusable bags when they go grocery shopping. I heard that in South Korea, consumers use the user box cartons provided by the supermarket to pack their groceries and they sometimes bring it back.
