Popular tween auther Jessica Burkhart has recently been banned from the cover photo shoots for her 12+ book series, Canterwood Crest. Jessica said, “I was/am no longer allowed by my publisher to attend the photoshoots. So I am not there (and neither is Kate [Angelella]) to be there for wardrobe, etc., as we had for covers 1-12.”
Jessica’s editor, Kate Angelella is also banned from shoots.
Jess’s publishing company, Simon & Schuster, hasn’t given a reason for the ban on the author and editor.
